July 13, 2014 - Making adjustments to the new home.

The story of This Little Piggy...

This little piggy went to market,
This little piggy stayed home,
This little piggy had roast beef,
This little piggy had none.
This little piggy went ...
Wee, wee, wee,
all the way home!

This Little Piggy originally found his home on South Second Street in Greenville, Pennsylvania.  He occupied a primary spot in the kitchen of Virginia Delett - who was also known by those who loved her as Mom, Grandma and eventually "GG".  This is GG at a couple of our of our beach reunions:

Piggy was the main man when it came to cutting homemade bread and pizza, biscotti, pepperoni for the eggs, etc. and became a part of the fabric of the memories of food, family and love in the Delett household.  This writer particularly remembers GG using Piggy as she cut a delicious stuffed veal breast revealing the surprisingly yellow center that was same recipe used for bread balls...but I digress and am getting drool all over the computer...

(some stunt doubles were used for illustrative purposes)

During the biannual Delett reunions on the beaches of the Outer Banks, Piggy is raffled off to a family member for his next "two year" adventure.  Having already spent some time with UBob, AJoanne, UGene and APeg...  Piggy will once again be visiting the hamlet (no pun intended) of Greenville, Pennsylvania.

This blog will chronicle the 2 year journey of this Little Piggy beginning in July 2014...
